Jurassic Jaunts Walk for Jim Cronin Memorial Fund
Wednesday 11th July 2012Our very good friends at Jurassic Jaunts have planned two very special walks to take place during our anniversary week. The second of these walks takes place on Wednesday 11th July and is a scenic 2 mile walk taking in Swyre Head, the highest point on the Isle of Purbeck giving fantastic views of Portland, Poole Harbour and the Isle of Wight. This walk is only 300 ft (90m) of ascent on good terrain and is ideal for families.

The walk involves one steady ascent and will start from Durdle Door car park at 10am, returning approximately 3 hours later.
Start point and Parking: ‘Sheep Pen’ car park, Nr Encombe House entrance, Kingston.
The car park is in Kingston, Grid Ref – SY 943792. Head for Swanage from Wareham, turn right just after Corfe Castle village, head to Kingston. At the top at the Scott Arms, turn right and the car park is ¾ mile on the left, just at the entrance to Encombe House.
£5 adults £2.50 children. £1 donated to the Jim Cronin Memorial Fund from each walker that attends.
