We were pleased to support the safe rescue of the ‘fantastic five,’ a group of loris from Hong Kong. The team from Monkey World headed over to the Shaldon Wildlife Park and prepped the loris ready for their journey to their new home in Dorset. The five, Axl, Tina, Nicki, Marley and Bruce, all coped with the travel and settled in to their temporary accommodation within the Monkey World hospital. They have all completed their transition through quarantine and have begun to be paired up with the hope of successfully breeding from the group. Now that they are settled, their true characters are coming through and they are fast becoming a popular group with visitors to Monkey World.
