The charity was pleased to fund the rescue and transportation costs of squirrel monkey Azzi from the British Pet Trade.

Azzi had been living with her owners in Wales for many years; she previously lived with other monkeys but as the years passed, her companions passed away and she found herself living alone. With everything ready and in place at Monkey World for the new arrival, Alison and Jeremy made their way to Wales to collect her. It didn’t take long to get Azzi into her travelling box and then it was straight back to the park where Azzi would begin a new chapter in her life with others of her own kind.

I’m very pleased to report that Azzi has settled in well and is enjoying life at the park with new friends.
