Education Grant – Maddie Court
Zoological Animal Training Symposium 2023

Maddie Court has been successful in her application for an education grant to attend the Zoological Animal Training Symposium 2023 “Errorless Learning”.

In Maddie’s own words – “This course puts a focus on improving training outcomes when errors become frequent. I hope this symposium will improve and increase successful outcomes when training primates at Monkey World, by reaching goals quicker, having more reliable outcomes and maintaining high levels of engagement in the primates. This should help with day-to-day management of the primates, reduces stress in primates and generally speed up achievement of training new behaviours.”

We can’t wait to see what new skills Maddie will learn and be able to implement to benefit the primates in her care.
