The JCMF funded Moon’s arrival at Monkey World when he was just 4-5 months old after his owner agreed to sign him over. It was important to get Moon into a more suitable environment without the clothes, shampoo products and abundance of food previous owners had given him. Although these things were a sign of love, it is not what is best for a wild animal.
Moon was placed with Hazel and Solomon, who would act as adoptive parents, and after the initial introductions the three of them were left to bed down together on their first night as a new family.
Moon seems to be very happy and settled with his new family and we are excited to see him progress as his time continues.
