It was great to welcome the next group of students from Bristol and Stroud college back to the charity’s Education Centre for their fourth visit.
Fresh faced and eager to learn, they quickly settled into their rooms, and made themselves at home, before starting what was to be an action packed residential course in Primate Welfare, Husbandry and Conservation.
During their time with us they participated in both theory and practical sessions led by Alison and the team from Monkey World.
The highlight of their trip was undoubtedly the opportunity to work alongside the Primate Care Staff at the park for a day. Which provided a rare insight into what life is really like as a keeper.
At the end of the day they returned to the centre utterly exhausted, but happy with stories to tell regarding the many species of primate that they got to work with.
Just some of the feedback received from the students
